What To Bring
For those of you who will be attending the Father/Son Team Day we are really excited that you have chosen to make the time to spend with your sons! Below are a few more details to help you prepare.
You will only need a few things to make your day comfortable. If you are camping the night before, we've listed a few more things to bring. Take a look below. Let me know if you have any questions. [email protected]
PLEASE BRING A CAMP CHAIR! The location is beautiful but lacks a central seating area. Please bring a camp chair so you will have a place to sit,
Good Item To Bring for the competition:
For those camping Friday night
The campsite is the same site that we will use the next morning for the event. You will not need to travel to get to the event site.
Water and toilets are provided but that's about it for Friday night. If you are not planning on getting food on the way to the campground Friday night, then you'll want to bring food as well as the means of preparing it (camp stove, etc.)
Food:
Dinner - If you are not planning on cooking Friday night at the campsite, then I would recommend stopping on the way. You can eat there or get the food and bring it to the campsite.
Breakfast - You will need to bring food for breakfast, so feel free to keep it simple, you can bring some instant oatmeal (we have hot water for you); breakfast bars or muffins work well; or any other easy low or no-prep meals are what I would suggest. We'll also have some doughnuts at the campsite that you can buy.
There are no showers available.
We will have a campfire available, so if you want S'mores Friday night bring the ingredients, as well as roasting sticks.
Don't forget to bring:
I'm available any time if you have questions.
See you there!

- Sunscreen
- Camera
- Hat
- Rain clothes (just in case)
- Swim Suit: If you are bringing a son in 5th grade or up it may be a good idea to bring swim suits and towels, since one event is the canoe race and sometimes ... well ... a few people get wet.
